Krista earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Loyola University, and a Master of Business Administration in Management from the University of South Florida, both with honors. After more than a decade of homeschooling her four children, she completed the Dale Carnegie course for Public Speaking and Human Relations and later became a class coach for several instructors here in Atlanta. Four years ago, a friend invited her to teach public speaking classes at a large homeschool educational ministry to elementary, middle and later to high school students. The classes have been hugely successful: tripling in demand and producing students who have emerged from hiding under desks to commanding a large stage, auditorium and microphone. Now she seeks to take the classes and workshops to the extended community of Atlanta and help raise up even more voices.
"I absolutely love sharing my passion for public speaking with an audience I adore: young students and teens! It is my goal that they will not only be able to speak in front of an audience, but that they receive so much enjoyment and confidence from these skills that the students actually crave opportunities to speak again, and that audiences welcome them with open arms."
